Welcome to the ACC Guide to the Cochrane Library The Cochrane Library is put together by clinicians, consumers and researchers from around the world, and is a resource that can be used to support health care decisions and inform people receiving care. Although intended primarily for clinicians and researchers, the Cochrane Library contains much information that is directly relevant to consumers. We have prepared this Guide to help you get the most from the Cochrane Library. As you move through the Guide, you'll find out about the purpose of the Library, who compiles it, the kind of information it contains, and how to search it. This is the third version of the Guide. It has been fully revised and updated to reflect changes that have been made to the Cochrane Library in 2006-2008. We hope to improve and develop the Guide and would like to hear your views on its usefulness; you can comment by clicking the Feedback button at the top of the page. To log on to the Cochrane Library at any time, choose the Library log on button at the top. |
