Editorial Base
The
Metabolic
and Endocrine Disorders Group is responsible for the preparation and
maintenance of reviews in The Cochrane Library on the prevention,
treatment and management of diabetes.
The Editorial Base is located at Heinrich
Heine University in Duesseldorf, Germany and is funded by the
Institut fuer Internationale Kommunikation, Germany.

Metabolic and Endocrine Disorders Group has one Australian
editor: Stephen Colagiuri.
- The
Renal
Review Group is based at The Children's Hospital at Westmead, New
South Wales Australia. The group is led by Jonathan
Craig and receives funding from the Department of Health and Ageing
and other sources. The Sydney based group support reviewers and
Cochrane activity related to renal health globally.
- The
Pregnancy
and Childbirth Group has a regional base in Australia, funded by the Department of Health and Ageing.
- Twenty
Australian reviewers have published

The
Australian Government Department of Health and ageing has provided three
years of funding to support the establishment of a regional base for the
Metabolic and Endocrine Disorders Group and facilitate Cochrane activity
in the Australian diabetes community.
