Editorial Base
There are three review groups that produce reviews on arthritis and musculoskeletal conditions in The Cochrane Library.  The groups and their scope are:

• The Back Review Group: primary and secondary prevention of neck and back pain and other spinal disorders except inflammatory diseases and fractures
• The Musculoskeletal Review Group: gout, lupus erythematosus, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, paediatric rheumatology, rheumatoid arthritis, soft tissue rheumatism, spondylo-arthropathy, systematic sclerosis, vasculitis
• The Musculoskeletal Injuries Group - information on this group and their reviews is included under the injury NHPA

Musculoskeletal Review Group

The editorial base for the Musculoskeletal Review Group is located at the Institute for Population Health, University of Ottawa, Canada. The group supports subgroups within each of the major areas within their scope.  The review group and its subgroups receives support from a number of sources. 

 

Back Review Group
The editorial base for the Back Review Group is located at the Institute for Work & Health, Toronto Canada. They are supported by the Swedish Council on Technology Assessment in Health Care Sweden, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Canada and the Institute for Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis Canada.
