Sources of support

The Australasian Cochrane Centre receives its core funding from the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing. Our activities, as outlined in our strategic plan, are approved by the Department and are reported against twice a year.

The Centre has an aligned research program in implementation research and conducts commissioned projects relating to evidence synthesis. All additional funding comes from not-for-profit health research funding agencies, such as the National Health and Medical Research Council.
