Tari Turner is an Educator on the SEA-ORCHID
Project and a Senior Project Officer in the Centre
for Clinical Effectiveness, working on the Health
for Kids in the South East project.
Tari's role in the SEA-ORCHID Project is to provide
support for the project staff in South East Asia for
various evidence-based practice activities. Her role
in Health for Kids includes providing evidence-based
content for clinical practice guidelines and protocols
for new services, as well as supporting evidence-based
practice activities within the Children's Program at
Southern Health.
Tari joined the Centre
for Clinical Effectiveness in March 2003 and has
been involved in a range of activities focusing on getting
evidence into clinical practice. She really loves being
able to find, appraise and translate research evidence
which can then be used in practical ways to improve
care and outcomes for patients. She also has a thing
for graphic design and particularly designing logos.
Before joining the Centre for Clinical Effectiveness,
Tari worked at Swinburne University teaching multimedia
to undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well
as undertaking research in a range of areas associated
with online learning, information technology and eBusiness.
